Terms of service
Last updated October 30, 2026
These terms apply when you use RadarNav. If you do not agree with them, do not use the app.
Drive attentively
RadarNav is an aid, never a substitute for your own attention. Road signs, posted speed limits and the law always take priority over anything the app shows. Do not interact with the app while driving: report only when you are safely stopped or travelling as a passenger.
Reports are community information, not facts
Community reports are submitted by other drivers and are neither verified nor guaranteed. Some are relayed from public drivers' groups, and the report says so. An absence of reports on a stretch of road does not mean the road is clear. Fixed camera locations come from a worldwide camera database and published government records: a recorded location means a camera was documented there, not that a camera is installed, operating or enforcing at any given moment.
Your account and your contributions
You are responsible for what you publish. Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, misleading or targeted at an individual, and do not use RadarNav to obstruct law enforcement. The same applies to usernames, profile photos and friend requests. You keep ownership of what you write, and you grant RadarNav the right to display and distribute it inside the app.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
RadarNav has zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. Objectionable content includes hate speech, harassment, threats, sexual content, slurs, spam and anything targeting an individual, wherever it appears: in a report, a reply, a username or a profile photo.
The app filters objectionable language automatically. Every user can report (flag) any report, reply or profile, and can block any other user. Blocking immediately hides that user's replies from you, keeps each of you out of the other's search, ends any friendship between you, and notifies the developer. Their reports stay on the map, which shows them without a name.
The developer reviews every flag within 24 hours, removes the offending content and ejects (bans) the user who posted it. A banned account cannot sign in again.
By creating an account or signing in, you agree to these terms, including this zero-tolerance policy.
Friends and location sharing
“Show me to nearby drivers and friends” is on by default, and you can turn it off before you agree to these terms. While it is on and drive alerts or navigation are running, only accepted friends who have switched you on in their Friends tab see your live position, with your name; every other driver sees only an anonymous marker. You can turn it off at any time in Account, Settings.
Navigation subscription
Turn-by-turn navigation, with route preview and place search on the map, is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, bought in the app through the App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your store account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your store account settings: RadarNav cannot cancel it for you, and a cancelled subscription keeps working until the period you have paid for ends.
A subscription is bound to the RadarNav account that first activated it and cannot be moved to another account; on a new device, sign in with that account and use Restore purchases. Refunds are handled by the store under its own rules. Deleting your RadarNav account removes its access to navigation but does not cancel the subscription with the store, so cancel it there first. The map, community reports and drive alerts never need a subscription.
Availability
The app is provided as it is, without warranty. Features that depend on third-party services, including maps, routing, place names and notifications, can be interrupted or withdrawn. Notifications and reminders are a convenience: they can arrive late or not at all, so never rely on one. We can change or discontinue parts of the app.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, RadarNav is not liable for fines, collisions, delays or any other loss arising from your use of the app or from reliance on information shown in it. You remain responsible for how you drive.
